RIB-SEAL is a profiled skirt rubber in continuous coils of 12 metres for long joint-free sealing.

RIB-SEAL is 16mm thick maximum to give suitable resistance to impact and wear and yet has the flexibility of 8mm to relieve pressure on the belt surface.

RIB-SEAL needs no special fixing track and can be clamped or drilled as required.

In the heavy duty applications (standard) the skirt is installed with the grooves facing the material. The grooves then fill with conveyed material to protect the rubber from impact damage and erosion.

In the lighter duty or dusty applications the skirt is installed with grooves facing the belt to form a multi-lip seal for greater efficiency, and offer a smooth inner surface to aid material flow.
