For the detection of: belt speed, belt slip, belt damage and belt position.

Installed in each roller there is a sensor, protected from the hostile operating conditions, and connected to a local programmable PLC which constantly monitors the readings.

Any variance on the pre-set and adjustable limits, and alarms are registered locally:

1. Adjustable tracking rollers give signal when in contact with the belt edges.
2. Belt damage roller below belt surface give signal if contacted by a damaged belt underside.
3. Contact roller gives constant signal on motion, speed, and speed anomalies.
4. Belt support roller to item 5.
5. Belt damage roller below return belt surface detects damage on "dirty" side of belt.
6. Programmable PLC to process information and send alert signals.
