For use in feed areas handling smaller lump sizes with high dust content.

Install an ANTI-SPILLAGE CRADLE in place of rollers at feed points handling -50mm material and where high impact forces are not present. Often this type of feed has a high dust content where even small deflections of the belt between rollers causes serious spillage problems to atmosphere and surrounding plant.

A fully adjustable steel frame to perfectly match the existing troughing angle is topped with low friction U.H.M.W. Polyethylene over which the belt glides.

Without the normal "dipping" of the belt between rollers, the belt is fully supported against the skirt rubbers to form an excellent seal.

The CRADLES can be used over many metres without increase in power requirements due to their low friction and constant belt profile.

In the event of their use in potential high drag areas, i.e. under hoppers or silo's, the centre panel can be replaced with a ladder frame housing our close pitch rollers to even further reduce start-up power requirements. (See HI-SPEED A.S.C)
